There has never been a better time to be an international college football fan.
With DAZN, Disney+ and Sky Sports all broadcasting games, more than 60 — yes, 60 — live college football games will be available to watch in the UK & Ireland this weekend, covering both the FBS and FCS.
And yet, nothing quite compares to the Union Jack Classic.
On Saturday, Wembley Stadium will host the first college football game in the UK in nearly 40 years, as Arizona State takes on Kansas. Kick-off is at 5pm UK time, and for one day at least, college football will be right on our doorstep. Tickets are still available, too, so if you’re looking for something to do on Saturday and want to be part of history, you still have the chance.
But with an almost ridiculous amount of college football available at our fingertips, deciding what to watch can be a challenge.
So, I asked my College Football UK podcast co-hosts which games they’ll be watching — or at least keeping an eye on — this weekend, to put together the ultimate college football watch guide.
As this is something we’ll be doing every week, we’ve set a few rules:
Week 3 only: the Union Jack Classic isn’t available as a selection, because we’ll all be there!
One game per co-host, per window: 5–6pm, 8–9pm, and midnight onwards.
No duplicates: each game can only be selected by one person.
So, with that out of the way, let’s get into the games that have caught the eye of the College Football UK crew this week.
Adam | Fletch | Gary | Nick | Sam
Adam
Early Game: Eastern Michigan @ Wisconsin – 5:30pm, DAZN
Adam has Wisconsin getting 7 wins this season. After getting blown away by Notre Dame in week 1, then blowing away Western Illinois in week 2, we may not have the full picture on this Wisconsin team. MAC teams have cause B1G teams some pain so far in 2026, so we could get a much better look at who this Badgers’ team is.
Middle Game: USC @ Rutgers – 8:30pm, DAZN
With his hot-take in the off-season that Lincoln Riley might well be on the hotseat, USC travel to a Rutgers team that’s struggled to get going this season. They got their backsides handed to them by UMass in week one, and had to try and rally back against Boston College in week 2 after going 17 points down. Rutgers need a big result, and this is the exact game for KJ Duff to shine. USC face their first ‘real test’ and a huge amount of travel. The spread is 23.5 in favour of the Trojans. Seems like the perfect recipe for college football to college football.
We also suspect that after Oregon’s loss last week, there’s some hate-watching going on here.
Late Game: New Mexico @ Oklahoma – 12:30am, Disney+ & DAZN
Bounceback games. Oklahoma will be looking to respond after their loss to Michigan in week 2 against a New Mexico team looking to make waves this season. Among the favourites to win the Mountain West, New Mexico eased past Central Michigan in week 2, and will be right up for this matchup. Oklahoma are 3 score favourites, and the likelihood is this game will be relatviely routine. But as mentioned above – sometimes college football does college football.

Fletch
Early Game: Wyoming @ Central Michigan – 6pm, Disney+ & DAZN
Those of you whom listened to Hurdle the Line over the last couple of years will be familiar with the phrase ‘good for all the wrong reasons’. This is that exact kind of game on paper. Both teams got blown away in week one, and had to rally against FCS teams in the 4th quarter. The spread keeps changing from in favour of Wyoming and Central Michigan and it seems no one can pinpoint what to think of this game.
The only thing that would make this more Sicko, is if this was the late game. However, as we often find out; these can be the very best games. 2 evently matched teams, both want to win and both want to kick on for the season. 3x OT anyone?
Middle Game: Louisiana Tech @ Baylor – 9pm, Disney+
In theory, this game shouldn’t be close. And it won’t be. However, I think watching DJ Lagway continue to grow and hopefully turn the Billy Napier corner in his life is something worth watching. I don’t have a whole lot to say about it, and Michigan will be on, so I’ll also be watching that, but I’m looking forward to seeing Lagway’s evolution.

Late Game: Western Michigan @ Rice – 12am, Disney+
This is another game that’s NOT likely to be close, but the growth of Western Michigan is fun to watch after week one. They have Boise State in week 4, and this is a great chance at a warmup before they go up against another ‘big’ program to make a statement.
Gary
Early Gamel: N/A
Middle Game: Florida State @ Alabama – 8:30pm, Disney+ DAZN
They can’t. Surely, they can’t. We said this last season, then they did. Florida State pulled off an improbable win over Alabama in 2025. Mike Norvell’s seat is hotter than the Corona of a Black Hole, and while he can probably be forgiven for losing to Alabama, it’ll be how bad that loss is that really puts the final nail in the coffin. Frankly, we think Gary might just be watching to see Norvell off.

Late Game: LSU @ Ole Miss – 12:30am, Disney+ & DAZN
Someone had to choose it, right? Game of the week. Lane Kiffin vs. Pete Golding, the ex-wife vs. the new-wife. The Magnolia Bowl didn’t need any more juice adding to it, but here we have it anyway. 2019 LSU were the last team to win this matchup on the road, but Ole Miss haven’t won back-to-back Magnolia Bowls since winning 3 in a row from 1997-1999. All the eyes will be on Oxford, Mississippi.
Nick
Early Game: Maine @ Boston College – 7pm, Disney+
Boston College’s schedule is rough work, but they can look to capitalise on their win over Rutgers with a convincing win over Maine this weekend. Their pre-season win total was 3.5, with wins over Rutgers and Maine expected. However, a good win this weekend and you never know what kind of momentum they can build. Virginia Tech are on the horizon and they need to prepate.
Middle Game: Kentucky @ Texas A&M – 8:30pm, Disney+ & DAZN
Kentucky put up a big fight in the first-half against Alabama last week, but Kalen DeBoer’s side ran away with it in the second-half. Texas A&M are fresh off a similar game in-which Arizona State ran them close in the first-half, but they ran way with the game in the second. The Aggies have playoff aspirations and hopes of challenging in the SEC for the Championship Game, and starting off conference play with a big win as #9 in the country will help.
Late Game: Florida @ Auburn – 12am, Disney+ & DAZN
Auburn scraped past Baylor in week one, then breezed past Southern Miss in week 2. Florida has barely broken a sweat. Jon Sumrall and Alex Golesh, 2 brand new SEC Head Coaches open conference play against each other. The Gators are 2.5 point favourites on the road, and Sumrall will be hoping to upset the Auburn parts of his family.

Sam
Early Game: UNC @ Clemson – 5pm, DAZN
Well, this game is a little bit of a hot mess. Dabo Swinney is up there with Mike Norvell on the ‘Corona of a Black Hole’ heat scale. After getting demolished against LSU, then a disappointing showingin their win over Georgia Southern, Swinney needs a good win. UNC are 2-0 with a great win against TCU to start the season in Dublin. But, with Steve Belichick resigning, and multiple players in trouble, there are problems in and around the program that Bill won’t want.
Both coaches need this win to get people off their backs.
Middle Game: SMU @ Louisville – 8:30pm, Disney+ & DAZN
It’s believed that the ACC is Miami’s conference, but these two teams will disagree. The Mustangs and Cardinals are the 2 next favourites to reach the ACC Championship. Both will feel they’re teams deserving of the playoffs, and both will feel they can take it to the rest of the ACC. Over the last couple of seasons, the main criticism of Louisville has been their inability to win these kinds of games.
SMU leads the all-time series 4-0, so this is the perfect time for Louisville to break that streak.
Late Game: UTSA @ Texas – 1am, Disney+
This is pretty self-explanatory for Sam. If you watch/listen to the College Football UK podcast, Sam ONLY watches Texas (not really, it’s a running joke). Texas’ huge win over #1 Ohio State has propelled them to the top of the rankings this week, and they face a UTSA team that they’d be expected to put 50+ points on. However, what you might want to look for is the Longhorns cleaning up some of their mistakes. Dropped passes while wide open, the interception that never should’ve happened.
If Texas want to remain #1, they have to play cleaner football. That starts on Saturday.

With over 60 games available on UK television services to choose from, we all had a plethora of games to pick. From the close matchups, to our own teams and teams we just want to see play good football, these are the games we’re focusing on this week where possible.
