The Union Jack Classic is over, and there are no more international college football games in 2026 for us to attend. I’d use this as an opportunity to ask if anyone wants to pay for us to go out to the States, but maybe later.
This week it’s back to: tv screens at home, DAZN multiview and Disney+. Mak.
So, I asked my College Football UK podcast co-hosts which games they’ll be watching — or at least keeping an eye on — this weekend, to put together the ultimate college football watch guide.
As this is something we’ll be doing every week, we’ve set a few rules:
One game per window: 5–6pm, 8–9pm, and midnight onwards.
No duplicates: each game can only be selected by one person.
On TV: they must be available on DAZN or Disney+ in the UK
So, with that out of the way, let’s get into the games that have caught the eye of the College Football UK crew this week.
Adam
Early Game: Wake Forest @ Louisville – 5:00pm, DAZN & Disney+
Louisville will be riding high after beating SMU in week 3, but they welcome a Wake Forest side that began to mount a comeback against Miami on Saturday. Despite going 31-7 down midway through the 3rd, they began to rally back and found themselves 31-20 down early in the 4th. However, a Safety just a couple of minutes after their final touchdown was the final nail in the coffin and they couldn’t push further. Louisville want to build on their big win, Wake Forest will want to keep some of that second half momentum.
Middle Game: Iowa @ Michigan – 8:30pm, DAZN
Both programs enter this game 3-0, but both can consider themselves pretty lucky to be undefeated so far. Michigan barely scraped past Western Michigan in week 1 and Iowa had to mount a 10-point comeback against Iowa State in week 2.
This game has all the markings of a defensive slug-fest with major (albeit early) implications for the playoffs, rankings and both teams getting the ball rolling in conference play. No matter how much of a slug-fest this game gets, both teams will be aching for an important win.
Late Game: Oregon @ USC – 12:30am, DAZN
Oregon have had a struggle to start the season. From scraping past G6 playoff hopefuls Boise State, to losing on the road to Oklahoma State. Another loss puts the Ducks in a precarious position when it comes to pushing for playoffs, and their schedule gets even tougher. They took out their frustrations on Portland State in week 3, which may be just what they needed before they fly south on the West Coast.
USC on the other hand are 4-0, but they let a winless Rutgers team hang around all game in their week 3 outing, so maybe things aren’t as rosey as they seem. Maybe they can be somewhat let off, though. They travelled from LA to New Jersey for their in-conference game against the Scarlett Knights and the travel is sure to make things a little ‘choppy. Neither team leaves the West Coast for this one, so travel complications should be kept to a bare minimum.

Early Game: Ball State @ Kent State – 6pm, Disney+ & DAZN
Some say this is a Sicko pick and I can neither confirm, nor deny whether I need some sort of intervention given some of the other games available at the same time.
Kent State are pushing for their first Bowl game since 2021, while Ball State are a football program too. The Golden Flashes are pretty clear favourites to win this one at home, but Ball State have won each of the last 4 meetings between the two. Maybe, just maybe, the Cardinals have somethng in the tank. Putting a dent in Kent State’s bowl hopes, and possibly catapulting their own.
Middle Game: Boise State @ Western Michigan – 8:30pm, DAZN & Disney+
If you’re looking for some high-quality, playoff-hoping Group of 6 football, this is the game for you. Both teams lost very close games in week one to Big Ten opponents. Matchups they could walk away from with their heads firmly held high. Boise State then went on to win a big game vs. G6 hopefuls Memphis, before needing a 4th quarter rally to beat FCS outfit South Dakota.
Western Michigan beat up Monmouth in week 2, before surviving a ‘too-little, too-late’ rally from Rice in Houston. Both teams have imporessed as a whole so far and built impressive resume’s through their first 3 weeks given their week one ‘good losses’. A win on either side will put them in a good place with the AP & CFP voters alike.
Late Game: UMass @ Sacramento State – 2am, Disney+
Another potential Sicko pick that doesn’t really look close on paper, but could show to be a good matchup. Winless in 2025, UMass are undefeated through 4 games in 2026 including a comfortable-looking win over the Big Ten’s Rutgers, while FBS newbiews Sacramento State are 1-3 in their step-up season so far. On paper: big win for UMass.
However, as mentioned above, travel from coast-to-coast can prove to be problematic and if you weren’t already aware: Amherst, Massachusets to Sacramento, California is about as long a travel as you can get. MAC teams are not used to this level of travel and it’d be interesting to see if it causes them any trouble with getting going.
Either way, I’m watching for potential MAC chaos, and to cheer on UMass’ English Senior Offensive Analyst; Coach Worsell.

Nick
Early Game: Colorado @ Baylor – 5pm, DAZN & Disney+
Despite both teams being 2-1 entering this game, Baylor are heavy favourites to get started in the Big 12 with a win over Deion Sanders’ Buffs. With DJ Lagway likely return on Saturday, the Bears will be looking to kick-on and make it 3-wins-in-a-row, a feat they weren’t able to accomplish in 2025.
Middle Game: Oklahoma @ Georgia – 8:30pm, Disney+ & DAZN
Georgia are currently ranked 2nd in the country and some may feel that that’s a little too kind to the Bulldogs who’s average margin of victory is 46 points throug their first 3 games. This is their first ‘real’ test as they welcome an underwhelming Oklahoma team.
The Sooners’ offense looked poor in week two against Michigan, yet couldn’t really seem to bounce back vs. New Mexico. John Mateer has a TD/INT ratio of 3/3 over the last 2 games and hasn’t looked impressive at all. The Sooners have gone from 10th in the AP pre-season poll and 9th in the UK & Ireland pre-season poll to no longer ranked as their disappointing start to the season has hit them hard. Can they bounce back against Georgia? Or will Georgia show that they’re rightfully ranked as highly as they are?

Late Game: Missouri @ Mississippi State – 12:45am, DAZN & Disney+
Both sides enter the game 3-0, but Mississippi State have generally looked the better team for it. The Bulldogs were down 16-0 in the 2nd quarter before Kamario Taylor took the game by the scruff of the neck in week 3 as Mississippi State walked away eventual 41-34 winners.
Missouri have been somewhat disappointing to start the season so far, despite their undefeated beginning to the season. They ran away in the second-half of their week 2 game at Kansas. The Tigers had an impressive 8 minutes or so in the 2nd quarter vs. Troy to overcome a 10 point deficit and run away with a 10 point win with thanks to a field goal midway through the 4th.
Missouri are ranked 19th, but don’t necessarily look worth their ranking in the grand scheme of things. Can they get a big win? Or can Mississippi State walk away with a good win before what looks to be a GAUNTLET for their next 4 games.
Sam
Early Game: Texas @ Tennessee – 5pm, DAZN & Disney+
I don’t think a lot needs saying out about this one. By far the tastiest, most electrifying game of the early window and it just so happens to be Sam’s team playing in it. A top 25 matchup that could have serious implications with both teams playoff candidates.
Steve Sarkisien has already beat Ryan Day and Ohio State, putting his Texas team as the #1 team in the country. Josh Heupel had a disappointing season by Tennessee standards last season, but his record in conference play is interesting. In his 5 previous seasons, the Vols have gone 4-4. 6-2, 4-4. 6-2 and 4-4 in the SEC. They still have Alabama, Texas A&M and LSU on their schedule. So they need to win one of these kind of games to kick-on. It has all the makings of a classic.
UT vs. UT. Orange vs. Orange. Arch Manning vs. Uncle Peyton’s alma mater.
Middle Game: Ole Miss @ Florida – 8:30pm, Disney+ & DAZN
Ole Miss are fresh off the biggest win since Pete Golding took charge in December. Forget the playoffs, the Rebels getting one over on the ex-wife is something they desparately needed to move on. Can they keep going with a bit less of that chip on their shoulder? Did they give a little bit ‘too much’ last week? Or are they just fine?
Somehow, 21st ranked Florida are FAVOURITES in this game vs. 4th ranked Ole Miss. It’s quite the testament to the start Jon Sumrall has made at the Gators. The former Tulane Head Coach has hit the ground running in Gainesville, a stark contrast to his predecessor.
I still don’t know how this works: if you’re the favourite, but you’re 17 places below in rankings… is it an upset?

Late Game: Texas A&M @ LSU – 12:30am, DAZN
Both of these teams have just received a reality check. Maybe one more than the other, but definitely a reality check for both. Texas A&M’s loss to Kentucky saw them fly down the polls this week, including being kicked out of the UK & Ireland Top 25. Meanwhile, LSU and Lane Kiffin was sent out of Oxford, Mississippi with their tails between their legs.
Both teams need a bounce-back, but a bad loss this week could leave Texas A&M all but eliminated from playoff contention after week 4. A loss for LSU could not only put them in trouble, but could we see Baton Rouge start to unravel early?
